HOW TO USE ?
Our Facial Tanning Lamp is a user friendly product. Open the panels by pushing the button below in the middle. Set the timer to the desired time by turning it to the right and position yourself with your face at a distance of approximatively 15 cm from the lamps. This face tanner has been specially designed to reach all parts of your face. It has three parts, one base with 6 lamps for the front and two side panels with three lamps for the side of your face and the neck. The amount of time will depend on skin type and the tan base. An option to make the effect stronger is to put your hands on the side panels and bring them a little closer to your face if necessary.
By choosing to tan at home, you’re taking responsibility for your own tanning sessions. If you have very fair skin or you’ve never tanned before, you should limit your session times. How quickly and how deep you tan depends on your skin type. Be sure to follow the tanning recommendations for your skin type found in the user manual.
Make sure you only use the Facial Tanning Lamp appliance in accordance with the recommended treatment times, tanning intervals and tanning distance.
Use should be restricted to those 18 years or older.

I JUST CAN’T GET ANY DARKER. WHAT CAN I DO?
Your skin becomes thicker as your tanning progresses and makes it difficult for UV light to penetrate the upper layers of skin. Moisturizer is extremely important at this point. Your skin cells are standing up as much as 45° and are actually reflecting the UV rays. Using a lot of moisturizing lotion will help these cells lay down and become more translucent, therefore more receptive to UV rays. Do you know your skin phototype ?
THE PLUS OF VITAMIN D?
The sun vitamin D (which our body builds by UV light in a natural way) is very important for our health. Indeed, it ensures the smooth functioning of most cells and organs, strengthens the immune system and our bones (absorption of calcium in the body) and can protect against various cancers (e.g. intestine and prostate cancer). Regular sunbathing protects against vitamin D deficiency.
It has been recommended by various health organizations studying the phenomena that moderate exposure to UV light has a net health benefit.
WHY A FACIAL TANNING LAMP?
Tanning your face can be tricky to get right especially with a sunless solution (spray tans or tanning lotions).
The main disadvantage to spray tans is that the color only lasts for approx. a week. The color will fade away as your skin sheds dead skin cells. It is also difficult to get spray tans during the summer as sweat, chlorine and salt water can strip the color. If directions are not followed correctly, then you can end up with an uneven tan.
Indoor tanning is a light therapy utilizing the exposure of moderate amounts of UV over a reasonable amount of time to skin from UV sources other than the sun.
What are the benefits of tanning at home ? Privacy, comfort, convenience, relaxing and refreshing any time you want.
You deserve your own facial tanning lamp. In addition, the UV tanning lamps can increase vitamin D uptake while achieving a sun-kissed golden glow.
Hardly anyone still wants to be deeply tanned, but a slight tan is a desired ideal of beauty. With quality UV lamps the tanning effect can be dosed and controlled according to skin type and desired degree.
UVA OR UVB?
The most common method of skin tanning involves the process of exposing skin to ultra-violet light (UV). Our skin is tanned by invisible ultraviolet radiation from the sun. This radiation darkens the pigment already present in our skin and stimulates the formation of more pigment known as melanin. The production of new melanin cells and the darkening of these make the skin stay tanned longer.
The sun emits UVR in the form of A, B, and C waves. Ultraviolet A radiation (UVA), which colors the pigment cells brown, and ultraviolet B radiation (UVB), which stimulates the production of melanin cells, but also causes sunburn, are the most well-known types. See more about UV light.
Our facial tanning lamp provides mostly UVA radiation so that the danger of sunburn is minimised. UVA has the best capability of tanning skin. UVB does not produce a tan in the third layer of skin but in the second.
